Ragdale Foundation

Over a period of three weeks a team of weeks a team of CSI artists created a tree sculpture called “Diversity of Birds” at Ragdale Foundation.

The sculptors transformed a 200-year-old elm tree that passed away from Dutch elm disease into a work of art. Learn about the Ragdale Foundation and watch a video of team members carving the tree sculpture with hand tools like chisels and mallets, and power tools like chainsaws and grinders.
